About
Jackson is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Atlanta. Born in Woodbury, NJ, he then migrated south to the Mississippi Gulf Coast where he spent his formative years wandering the water’s edge and venturing into the coastal forests. There he developed a deep connection with nature and the beauty of its complexities in its forms and textures. These experiences still shape his work today as he experiments with multiple mediums from traditional materials to new digital tools to create his compelling paintings, sculptures and digital images. His current series called METAMORPHOSIS is an imagined, uncharted world of mysterious species that exist in an unknown universe within our own.
His work is part of private, corporate and university collections, and has been shown in national and locally juried exhibitions.
